Fall 2010/Spring 2011 Design Team!!!

Well after much agonizing, I chose the new design team for Fall 2010/Spring 2011. I got so many fabulous submissions and so many of them were people brand new to Scrapdango, which is great. I love to draw new people to Scrapdango and hope that even if they didn't get chosen this time, they will stick around and see for themselves what a warm, friendly, inspiring community Scrapdango really is. I seriously had so many great applicants that I could've easily filled two teams. The hard part was that I was only adding 4 new people to the team, so I hope that everyone that applied this time but didn't make it, tries out again in the spring. Anyway, enought of all that. Without further ado, the new Fall 2010/Spring 2011 Scrapdango Design Team is:

Because the decision was so hard and because, like I said, I could've easily filled 2 teams, I did choose two people to serve as future guest designers. Those ladies were:

Congratulations to all of you. You are all so talented, and I am so excited for the coming months. There will be some exciting changes with Scrapdango coming up, so be looking for those.

ABC's of Cards

In honor of World Cardmaking day, which was last Saturday, we are doing a month long card crop. We're already 5 days into it and challenges for A through E have been posted. I have F ready to post before I head off to bed. If you haven't signed up yet or had a chance to check out any of the challenges, don't worry. You have all month to complete the challenges to earn draws to win a Scrapdango kit.

3rd & 4th Period and Recess

Well, I am way behind, but I wanted to wrap up the School's In contest. Can't believe that is already over.

For the 3rd Period English, we again had 2 teacher's pets. They were:

Celeste with this lovely 2-pager

and Kimmy (lostinadream) with this "dreamy" layout.
Our final period was Social Studies and the teacher's pets for that week were:

Kim (karennie34) with this perfectly balanced layout

and Tammi (teajays) with this super cute layout.
I have to really hand it to the design team for so many fabulous and ingenious challenges and to all the Dango members for all the eye candy that was created. We had 186 entries for the final prize and the winner of the full Scrapdango kit was

Laura (AngelBear)

So that's recess for School's In until next year. I hope everyone had a great time and was challenged and got lots of layouts done.
