Monday, Monday!

Once again, there is so very much going on at SCRaPDANGo! We're nearing the end of the month, so that means time is running out on a few challenges for March! We also have another amazing member to highlight today! This week's member was caught joining us for the monthly Design Team Challenges for week 4-- For your challenge this week, I want you to do something a little different with your pictures. My example for you is using the same photo, but one is the original color, and one is in sepia. You can choose to do this or even use a certain Photoshop technique you've been wanting to try (maybe colorizing like Heather taught us a couple of weeks ago.) Just do something a little bit different with the pictures!

Member Monday Here Again!

Happy Monday all! Hope your spring (for you in the Northern half of the globe) is shaping up well! Many of us just did a little springing forward this past weekend... Not sure if it's really ok to just snatch away an hour like that, but the extra daylight in the evening yesterday was wonderful to have!

Our member this week has been having some fun creating with the February Sugar kit! Such a great use of all the gorgeous paper in this kit! We also loved how she stuck the tulle behind some of her elements! Just beautiful work! Of course, that would make this week's member Sue! (#3sagirl). Congrats Sue!

In other Dango news, make sure to head back to the forum for this week's piece of A Week in the Life album project! We've started the technique tutorials and can't wait to see what you have been doing with your pics from last week! Next week you'll be able to put together your albums! Check here for more details!

Double Dose for the Day!!

Wowzers!! The week crept up on us and just flew right on by!! Sorry for the delay in getting the Member to you!! This week we share a member who is ultra talented and uber-busy!! She hangs out with us at SCRaPDANGo when she's not busy running her OWN forum and creating gorgeous sketches!! This week's member is Lucy!! I just LOVE that Lucy melted the acrylic for that wavy look on her fab altered item for the CROWNED entry. The ribbon and pearls are such a great touch and I just love the paint behind the pic. Awesome altered item!! How cute is that??

Now, we also need to get you this month's Use Your Stash blog challenge! Kerryn's up this month, and she's got a great one!

Hi Girls! This month I would like you to dig deep into your stash and create a layout or 2 using the following supplies:

Felt, metal and some bling.

That's it, pretty simple!
You will have until the last day of the month to link us to your layout, you just need to leave a comment with your link in it! You may enter up to 3 times each month. All entries from this and the sketch challenge (find it here on the Dango blog on the 20th of each month) will be entered into a drawing for a special "blog" prize pack-unique to the Dango Blog challenges. This Week's Member!!

A new week is upon us and the CROWNED competition is closing down! We just have to make the final tallies for the overall CROWNED winner! The work and talent coming in has been absolutely and completely fabulous, to say the very least. Each and every entry has shown amazing skill from all the entrants. The entire design team agrees that judging was a near impossible task to take on! Thanks so much to everyone who participated! Be sure to head over to SCRaPDANGo into each of the competition threads to see all the amazing work! We'll be trying to post some of it over here as well over the next week or so.

With all of the gorgeous work continuing to flood the gallery, we were able to find yet another stunning piece of work for this week's member spotlight! This week we check out the work of Sillyscraps! Here is her beautiful page for week 4...

In this LO, Leanne used loads of glimmermisting with masks! Also, check out all that fussy cutting! Just gorgeous!

A Week in the Life Album Contest!

We know everyone has heard of the Week in the Life Album, if not done one. This month at Scrapdango we are going to be doing one along with giving photography tips and technique tutorials!
Here's how the month will look:

Week 1: Photo tips...one tip a day
Week 2: Take Pictures
Week 3: Technique Tutorials...one technique a day with each dt member doing a simple tutorial on a certain technique

Week 4: Make the Album...you'll use the week to make your album using some of the techniques taught in the tutorials.

Heather has been generous to give a kit for this event! It will be by random draw.

Ways to get draws:

*Each picture posted in the gallery (max 7)

*Each photo tip used (max 6)

*Each daily layout posted (max 7)

*Each technique used on their pages (max 6)

Sign up in the sign up thread and keep track of your draws there! You have until midnight EST on Wednesday, March 31 to get your album and posting done!

International members welcome to play, however...a $6 shipping credit will be given. Any shipping above the $6 will be the members responsibility.
