Terrific Tuesday

Well it's another week here at Scrapdango. The "New Beginnings" crop officially ended on Sunday, and there were so many fabulous cards and layouts completed by all the Dangos. We thank you all for hanging with us for the crop. We are hard at work now getting ready for our National Scrapbook Day "Be Inspired" crop. Can you believe that is coming up this weekend?!? Gotta love a holiday just for all of us scrapbookers. :)


We should've posted the Member Monday post yesterday, but instead we'll do a Terrific Tuesday today to highlight one of our Dangos. There were so many great layouts and cards from the crop, that it was hard to choose just one, but I loved this layout by KellyG. The photo is adorable, and I love the simplicity of the layout.

April UYS Blog Challenge!

Hello all! Always glad you stopped by! We have another Use Your Stash challenge lined up for you! It's Carly here, and I'm up for this month. This time around, I need you to go dusting off the old stuff in your scrap stash. You know, the stuff you've completely forgotten you even have. Go and find some of the oldest stuff you've got, then make something great with them! You can make anything crafty you'd like, just as long as you're using up your stash. Let one item be something you think is one of the oldest items you've got, and make another one at LEAST one year old. (If you're a new scrapper, then both items should be the oldest!)

Here's a little book I created with some REALLY old My Mind's Eye papers and some flowers and ribbon that I'd completely forgotten I had.

You will have until the last day of the month to link us to your layout, you just need to leave a comment with your link in it! You may enter up to 3 times each month. All entries from this and the sketch challenge (find it here on the Dango blog on the 20th of each month) will be entered into a drawing for a special "blog" prize pack-unique to the Dango Blog challenges. (International winners will be given a $6 shipping credit and will be responsible for the balance.)

Over at SCRaPDANGo we just wrapped up our A Week in the Life Album Contest. During our first round of the month, we focused on new photo techniques. Each DT member gave a tutorial on various ways for you to enhance your photos. If you missed it, check here to get caught up! The awesome Dangos have been uploading all those great pics into the gallery and have really wowed us! In looking through these, we decided to go with one of these fab photos to use for our member spotlight this week! Here she is!

Congrats to AudreyKit! Who could even resist that adorable pic of her precious little girl?? This particular challenge was from Lynn- get a different angle on your subject. Seriously though, you'll really have to go check out the gallery! What the ladies are putting in there is just awesome! It was really hard to choose just one!

We are going to be having a crop to celebrate my new ownership and Spring called the New Beginnings Crop from April 12th - April 18th. One thing I want to do with this crop is really try to spread the word about Scrapdango.
