Second Period In Review

We had another fabulous week of school at Scrapdango. Second period was science class and design team member, Lisa Watson, posted another fabulous challenge. For her challenge, you had to use a photo with an animal in it, "experiment" with some technique, and let your experiment bubble over with mist or paint on the layout. Yet again, everyone did a fantastic job on their assignments. In the end, the design team did need to pick two teacher's pets and those people were:

Laura (Angelbear)
and Julie (lexea)
Congrats ladies.

We also had another electives class this week with Miss Lynn. Her challenge was a doozy, and you can find it here. Here are a couple layouts that caught my eye for this challenge.

"First Day" by Shannon (1scrappymom), this month's Guest Designer
and "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Watermelon" by Kristen
We are well into 3rd period English now with Miss Kerryn and I posted a Foreign Language elective challenge. Even if you haven't been playing along with us so far, we'd love to have anyone join us in class. Just grab a tardy slip from Principal Heather and find a seat. You can still earn draws toward the fabulous prize of a full Scrapdango kit.

School's In

Well the summer is over and all the kids are back in school, and the Dango gals have been in class too. All this month, Scrapdango is headed back to school for some scrappy learnin' (great grammar, huh?) Each week, there are core class and elective class challenges. By completing the challenges, you can earn a draw for the prize at the end of the month for a full Scrapdango kit.

Design team member, Carly posted our first challenge, which was 1st Period Math. Over 20 students completed the challenge, which you can see here, and everyone did a fabulous job. Each week, the design team chooses two standout students as the teacher's pets and those Dangos get an extra draw for the prize. It was insanely hard for us all to pick just two because everyone did such a great job, but the two we picked were:

TerriJ

and Audrey (audreykit)

Also this week, I posted a music elective challenge, which the students have all month to do, but here are a couple layouts that caught my eye. The layouts had to have a title or journaling using a song title or lyrics and show musical notes.

Kimmy (lostinadream)

It's always fun to see everyone's interpretations of these challenges. Now we are all currently in 2nd Period Science class with Lisa's challenge, which is posted here and there is also another elective class, Home Ec. with a doozy of a challenge (in a fun way) by Lynn. You've got until Tuesday, Sept. 14th at midnight to complete the challenge. Even if you missed 1st period, you can still join in and earn draws for the prize. Hope to see you in class.
