Unfortunately July was Scrapdango's last month of kits. When I took over in January I certainly did not plan for it to come to an end so soon, but for a number of reasons I won't be able to continue the club.
All kits are still on sale (only $19.95!) while supplies last.
Thank you for your support this year!

Shannon's July Color challenge
Does anyone remember the color schemes of the 50's? I remember my
aunt had all teal appliances for YEARS after!! Not sure I am ready for
that trend to come back in my kitchen...but we're bringing it back for
your challenge!!
Use the colors in the picture (any or all) for inspiration to create a color-inspired layout!

Kimberely's 50s Food Challenge
Remember those old TV dinners that were new back then?
They were convenient but they never tasted all that good because everything tasted like metal.
So for this challenge make a layout about food - anything will do, cooking it, eating it, have it on a picture, use it as a title etc. And to remember those dinners, have some metal somewhere on the page.
And look at this wonderful summery page by Celeste.
So make a page about food and join us in the forum.

Jessica's 50's Challenge
Jessica works for a company that has been around 50+ years. I was doing some
rearranging/cleaning a few weeks back and came across this Paymaster
check machine.
Her challenge for you is tools/machines. Dust off your border punches, cricut, scoring board, heat gun, etc..
And here is an example from Jan.
I LOVE how she used paper that shows and older model camera. Great job Jan.

Yum yum!
And Mary created this stunning page,
Mary used 5 buttons, 6 patterned papers, 1 sheet of cardstock (cut up to mat the photos), 15 brads, Thickers, and a punched circle.
So stop by the forum and show us your page using this challenge.

Member Monday
Another week has come and gone and here we are back to Monday. This weeks Member for Monday is lostinadream. I love the yellow mixed in with the stars and buttons.
I love the kits here - they are all a wonderful combination of papers and embellishments with everything coordinated. All I need to do is reach for something and I know that it will match. However just like anything else, there are ones which appeal to me more than others. This month was simply wonderful. I was truly like a kid in a candy store. My only problem this month was choosing between things. Since I have been working with these kits, my stash has languished. I never touch my old things - I don't need to everything I need or want comes from the kit.
Cards are a favorite of mine. I like to keep a stash of them so I can send them at a moment's notice.Double sided paper is like a double dip of ice cream - twice as good. I really liked using the double sided prints to make the tea bag folded flowers.
I hide a secret love for chipboard. It doesn't seem the rage that it once was but it is still a scrapbooker's staple. I love the little hexagons that were in the kit. I also used the ink that was in last month's kit to give this page a more masculine feel.
The paper for this page was just so sweet. it went so well with the pictures. It was so easy that it almost made itself.

Heather's July reveal
This month's Sugar kit screams Summer (and, oddly, three of my four layouts were from winter! LOL.).
I love hexagons, so I turned my double-layout into a hexagon party!
Hop on over to the store on July 5th to pick up your kit!

The sheet of Webster's Pages tags begged to be featured on a page, too:
On this next layout, I wanted to show how well the papers blended, so I punched ton of hearts and arranged them into large flowers.
And, this intertwined swirly line sheet made me think of stained-glass windows, which reminded me of the theater where I took my DD to see the Lion King. I used my exacto knife to carve out parts of it and placed different patterns behind each. Once that was set up, I spread crackle glaze over top to give it a fun stained glass look. I love how it turned out!
I also made two cards, and the end result reminded me of why I don't make too many cards... :( I am just NOT a card designer but am incredibly jealous of those that are! :)
Hop on over to the store on July 5th to pick up your kit!

Sugar is so sweet!
I feel like I am saying this all the time, but it is true - I just loved this kit!
The papers are so fresh and whimsical! The embellishments are super and just look at those adorable flowers! How can I not love all the coordinating papers that are in this kit? I just have to love them all - I am sure that you feel the same.
This is a mini album made from the kit for a graduate. I was able to leave room for her to embellish and still use the delicious kit
Doesn't this paper just make it look like a party on a page - that is what I think, and I love it.
