I have fallen in love with the Variety Pack Baseboard Tiles by Technique Tuesday. Have you seen them? They are white chipboard shapes that you can cover, ink, chalk and distress. They add instant charm and dimension to your page.
BUT….. I don’t use them for that purpose. I use them as templates!! I love the shapes of them and I have found that using them as templates is an affordable way to add interesting lines and elements to your pages. I find that the shaped papers that are all the rage right now are quite pricey! So I made a small investment in some Technique Tuesday Tiles and I am set.
Below are the borders. They are one of my favorites right now. I use them all the time right now.
Here is the layout I made using one of the templates:
I have made it easier on myself and used my Crop-a-dile to punch holes in the tiles. I then added a circle clip and hung them on my Clip-it-Up!! Great storage idea!I also adore the Circles. I can’t bring myself to invest in a pricey circle cutter and I use these as templates as well. Then I just cut the shapes out with either my craft knife or my scissors!
